Slight Success
Well, I didn't get around to posting when I weighed-in last week, but the result was that I lost .8 lbs. Yes, that is right, 8/10ths of a pound. I'm attributing it to using too many of my weekly points the night before weigh-in, so from now on, splurging is only on the weekend.
So, during the week I'm being good, food-wise, although that doesn't mean starving or boring food. Last night's dinner was 2 servings of a Veggie Stir Fry and a Cherry-Glazed Chocolate Cupcake, both WW recipes, to the tune of 5.5 points. (The veggie stir fry was so good that Craig even had some).
I've started using a pedometer to see how many steps I'm taking during the day, and yesterday was the first day since i started using it that I remembered to wear it, and didn't accidentally reset it at some point. Yesterday's step count was 5,011, so today's goal is 6,000. I'm aiming for 10,000 - 15,000 per day.
This week's weight loss goal is 2lbs, which would make my total -6.2lbs, which would accomplish step #1, the 5lb weight loss. Step 2 is 10%, so I have still have a little while before that happens, but as someone told me once, and I keep in mind, "Think of what a pound of butter weighs, and imagine how many of those you've actually lost."
